Révolver de marque " RAST UND GASSER " , modéle 1898 , AUTRICHE , en calibre 8 mm ( Rast Gasser -8,1 X 27 )- XIX°.
Carcasse fermée monobloc dans laquelle est vissé un canon rond portant organe de visée.
Barillet lisse à 8 coups en calibre 8mm ( 8,1 x 27 Rast Gasser) à l'exception des crans d'arrêt du barillet.
Chargement par la portière pivotante vers l'arrière.
Baguette d'ejection creuse coulisse sur une tige attaché à un collier métalliquesous le canon.
Patine sombre et crosse en noyer quadrillé.
Calotte métallique avec anneau de bélière.
Toutes les pièces sont au même numéro .
Marquage fabricant et calibre sur carcasse et canon , poinçons et numéro ,de serie . voir les photos.
En fonction du numéro de serie ,cette arme a ete produite en 1917.

“RAST UND GASSER” brand revolver, Model 1898, AUSTRIA, 8 mm caliber (Rast Gasser - 8.1 x 27) - 19th century.
Closed, one-piece frame into which a round barrel with sights is screwed.
Smooth 8-shot cylinder in 8 mm caliber (8.1 x 27 Rast Gasser), except for the cylinder detent notches.
Loaded through the rear-hinged loading door.
Hollow ejector rod slides along a shaft attached to a metal collar beneath the barrel.
Dark patina and checkered walnut grip.
Metal cap with a lanyard ring.
All parts bear the same serial number.
Manufacturer’s markings and caliber on the frame and barrel, along with hallmarks and serial number. See photos.
Based on the serial number, this firearm was manufactured in 1917.
