Sabre d'"Officier des Chasseurs de Vincennes" , modéle 1838 , XIX°.
Lame lenticulaire à gourge centrale et portant poinçon de BALP au talon.
Garde en laiton foncé mat finement ciselé , face exterieur & interieure voir les photos.
4 drapeaux, feuille de chêne & laurier, étoiles . 
Branche de garde avec décoration médiane , calotte à longue queue avec décor et médaillon.
Fusée en corne, filigranné en fil laiton torsadé .
Fourreau métallique  à 1 anneau de béliére.

“Vincennes Chasseurs Officer's” saber, Model 1838, 19th century.
Lenticular blade with a central fuller, bearing the BALP hallmark at the heel.
Finely chiseled matte dark brass guard; see photos for exterior and interior views.
4 flags, oak and laurel leaves, stars.
Guard branch with central decoration; long-tailed pommel with decoration and medallion.
Horn hilt, filigree work in twisted brass wire.
Metal scabbard with 1 ring for the scabbard strap.
Length: 102 cm
Length without scabbard: 100 cm
Blade length: 86 cm
Blade width at the heel: 2.3 cm
