DAGUE DE CHASSE EN BRONZE - ATLAS PORTANT UNE HURE DE SANGLIER - XIX° AVEC FOURREAU

Peu courante dague de chasse, poignée quillon en bronze plein, doré entièrement ciselée, représentant le buste d'Atlas portant une dépouille et tête de sanglier. Epoque début XIX°.
Deux demi oreillons à décors sur l'un de chien attaquant un sanglier et de l'autre face des attributs cynegetiques.
Lame droite  en damas, à deux tranchants, deux pans creux et arete médiane, gravée, dorée, dans des cartouches de scènes de chasseurs chassant le lièvre, et chasseur chassant le cerf poursuivis par des chiens, et des attributs drapeaux, lances, etc....
Fourreau recouvert de cuir marron (à signaler un manque de cuir en partie basse du fourreau), deux garnitures en laiton ciselées et dorées.
Chappe à long crochet décoré d'un mufle de lion, et bouterolles à palmettes.

BRONZE HUNTING DAGGER - ATLAS CARRYING A WILD BOAR'S HEAD - 19TH CENTURY WITH SHEATH

A rare hunting dagger with a solid bronze, gilded quillon hilt, entirely chased, depicting the bust of Atlas carrying a wild boar's carcass and head. Early 19th century.
Two decorated side panels: one depicting a dog attacking a wild boar, and the other featuring hunting motifs.
Straight Damascus steel blade, double-edged, with two fuller grooves and a central ridge, engraved and gilded within cartouches depicting scenes of hunters chasing a hare and a hunter chasing a deer pursued by dogs, along with hunting attributes such as flags, spears, etc....
Scabbard covered in brown leather (note: there is a section of missing leather on the lower part of the scabbard), with two chiseled and gilded brass fittings.
Pommel with a long hook decorated with a lion’s muzzle, and pommel knobs featuring palmette motifs.
