BRACELET ART DECO ARGENT 925 POINCON SANGLIER - CIRCA 1920

Très beau bracelet en argent 925 et languette fermoir en or 18 ct. La monture présente une répétition de maillons géométriques articulés, ornés de pierres blanches serties de manière très serrée pour couvrir un maximum de surface et créer un tapis étincelant.

Beau travail d’orfévrerie (voir photos). Des motifs évoquant des feuilles se retrouvent sur les bords du bracelet rappelant les bijoux du XIX° siècle.

Porte deux poinçons sanglier au niveau du fermoir, (la Tête de sanglier » est employée à partir de 1838 jusqu’en 1962 sur les ouvrages en argent massif en France à Paris,)

Porte poinçon du fabricant d’orfèvre dans un losange situé sur la languette du fermoir qui a été testé à la pierre de touche et répond à « or 18ct. Porte un autre poinçon dans un oval.

Longueur ouvert sans le bout du fermoir : 18,5 cm. Largeur des maillons : 1,7 cm. Epaisseur des maillons : 0,3 mm. Poids brut : 43,61 grs

Fermoir invisible par bouton poussoir et 8 de sécurité. Tout le système d’attache d’articulation a été controlé chez un artisan bijoutier.

ART DECO 925 SILVER BRACELET WITH BOAR HALLMARK - CIRCA 1920

A beautiful 925 silver bracelet with an 18-karat gold clasp. The band features a repeating pattern of articulated geometric links, adorned with white stones set very closely together to cover as much of the surface as possible and create a sparkling carpet of light.

Fine silversmithing (see photos). Leaf-like motifs appear along the edges of the bracelet, reminiscent of 19th-century jewelry.

Bears two boar hallmarks on the clasp (the “boar’s head” hallmark was used from 1838 through 1962 on solid silver pieces in Paris, France).

It bears the silversmith’s maker’s mark in a diamond-shaped field on the clasp tongue, which has been tested with a touchstone and is certified as “18ct gold.” It also bears another mark in an oval.

Length when open, excluding the clasp end: 18.5 cm. Link width: 1.7 cm. Link thickness: 0.3 mm. Gross weight: 43.61 grs

Invisible push-button clasp with 8 safety locks. The entire hinge mechanism has been inspected by a jeweler.
