Sabre d'officier d'état major du 1 er Empire dit à la Marengo , XIX°.
Lame courbe à la Hussarde.
Poignée quadrillé "un flél "et au trait verticaux.
Monture en laiton à pommeau à courte queue surmonté d'un décor et tête de lion.
Garde à 1 branche ciselé de décor et à oreillons noeux de corps aux attributs militaires sur fond sablé seterminant par un mufle leonin.
Lame courbe à dos plat & pans creux à 1 tranchant et contre tranchant en pointe.
lame gravée au 1er tiers de feuillages et attributs militaires.
Cravatte en cuir gris épaisse présente.
Fourreau laiton à décor de toile d'araignée , floral et dard gravé ( voir les photos).
Fourreau à 2 anneaux de suspente.

First Empire staff officer's saber, known as “à la Marengo,” 19th century.
Curved Hussar-style blade.
Checkered “un flél” grip with vertical lines.
Brass mount with a pommel featuring a short tail, topped with a decorative motif and a lion’s head.
Single-branch crossguard chiseled with decorative motifs and knotted side plates featuring military insignia on a sandblasted background, ending in a lion’s muzzle.
Curved blade with a flat back and hollow edges, featuring a single cutting edge and a counter-edge at the tip.
Blade engraved in the upper third with foliage and military attributes.
Thick gray leather lanyard included.
Brass scabbard decorated with spiderweb and floral motifs and an engraved dart (see photos).
Scabbard with 2 suspension rings.
