Dague d'officier de marine sous le 1 Er Empire , non réglementaire , à l'Orientale, XIX°. Sans poinçon visible , les fourbisseurs voulant rester anonymes en raison de l 'interdiction de ce type d'armes par l'Empereur. Dague d'influence retour d'Egypte , trés appriciée par les officiers de la marine Anglaise. Lame très courbe plate à gorge sur les 2 tiers et à 1 tranchant et contre tranchant en pointe. Fusée en ébene quadrillée et raynurée verticalement. Garde à quillon inversé embout en laiton avec anneau de monture à boules perlées . Pommeau en laiton ovale avec bouton de riveture et rainure cirdulaire. Chainette , posterieure reliant le pommeau au quillon. Fourreau en laiton imitant la forme d'un fourreau de sabre à 2 bracelets à anneaux et bouterolles dissymetriques.
Longueur: 44 cm - Longeur SF: 42 cm - Longueur de la lame: 33 cm - Largeur de la lame au talon : 1,9 cm. Bel état de conservation et d'usage , dans son jus et sa patine , voir les détails sur les photos.

Rocket in an ebene grid and striped vertically. Inverted quillon guard with brass tip with beaded ball mount ring. Pommeau in oval brass with riveting button and circumferential groove. Chain, posterior connecting the pommel to the quillon. Brass scabbard imitating the shape of a sabre sheath with 2 bracelets with dissymmetrical rings and plugs.
