"LES VOITURES NOUVELLES" Illustré par Jacques Eudel en 1961, réédité en 1978 sur ce foulard en twill de soie aux bords roulottés main et aux bordures saumon se décline sept voitures anciennes sur un quadrillage rappelant les tissus des intérieurs des automobiles de l'époque. Sur fond ivoire ces fiacres, cabriolets, landaus et calèches semblent attendre les élégantes pour une promenade au parc. La signature de l'illustrateur figure en bas à gauche, le nom de la Maison Hermes en bas à droite et le titre de cette composition en bas au centre. A noter le copyright bien caché dans l'angle à gauche du décor. En bel état de conservation et d'usage compte tenu de son ancienneté, tant au niveau de la soie que des couleurs encore vives et bien saturees. (Voirphotos).Dimensions : 86,5 X 91 cm

"NEW CARS" Illustrated by Jacques Eudel in 1961, Reissued in 1978 on this beautiful silk twill scarf with hand rolled edges and salmon borders is available seven vintage cars on a wide grid border reminiscent of the fabrics of the interiors of automobiles of the time. On an ivory background these carriages, cabriolets, prams and carriages seem to wait for the elegant for a walk in the park. The illustrator’s signature appears at the bottom left, the name of the Maison Hermes at the bottom right and the title of this composition at the bottom center. Note the copyright well hidden in the left corner of the decor. In a good state of conservation and use given its age, both in silk and colors still bright and well saturated. (See photos).
