Les plaques à sabler servaient à décorer les gâteaux avec du sucre glace par transfert d’un pochoir en métal. Ce carré de la celèbre Maison, illustré par Hugo Grygkar, a été édité en 1948 - 1956 et réédité en 1998 ce qui en fait un modèle recherché par les amateurs de carrés iconiques. Pas de copyright pour cet exemplaire de 69 ans.
En twill de soie aux bords roulottés main il se décline sur fond blanc cassé aux illustrations bleu roi. Le titre figure dans un cartouche centré tandis que le nom de la Maison et la dénomination « Collection Hermès Paris » se retrouvent dans un second cartouche. Mériterait un bel encadrement pour ce modèle très ancien.

The sandblasting plates were used to decorate cakes with icing sugar by transferring a metal stencil. This square of the Maison celèbre, illustrated by Hugo Grygkar, was published in 1948 - 1956 and reissued in 1998 which makes it a model sought after by lovers of iconic squares. No copyright for this 69 year old copy.
In silk twill with hand-rolled edges, it is available on an off-white background with royal blue illustrations. The title appears in a centered cartouche while the name of the House and the denomination "Collection Hermès Paris" are found in a second cartouche. Would deserve a beautiful framework for this very old model.
